Beacon of Hope Uganda (BoHU) is a community based humanitarian service and rural development organization founded in 2006 with a vision to help those least able to help themselves. Beacon of Hope Uganda designs and conducts programs which contribute to the welfare and social productivity of disadvantaged individuals and communities with an emphasis on children and youth. Beacon of Hope Uganda’s work relies heavily on volunteers. We do provide volunteers with meaningful volunteering opportunities in Uganda. Our volunteer programs include one week to 24 weeks volunteer work placements all year round. Beacon of Hope Uganda Volunteers and Interns are typically enthusiastic, hard-working, self-motivated and proactive people who are able to work under their own initiative and as part of Show more a team. They do not replace or take jobs away from local Ugandans – they assist them with the various projects running in the area around Mukono and other districts where we work. Visit our website, choose a project and sign up to volunteer with us now.
