ALLIED Certified Public Accountants was established in 1993, to carry out business of audit and accountancy services. Mr. Kiyita .M. Kyambadde created ALLIED Certified Public Accountants. To benefit the firm with other specialised skills and competences that were pertinent to its growth, the proprietor recruited two individuals to run the company in the capacity of General Managers viz Mr. Mugenyi Frank and Mr. Kakembo Livingstone. As a result of the ingenuity and hard work of Managers, ALLIED has grown into a medium sized indigenous firm that ably competes with other indigenous firms. The firm’s client base has expanded from 10 in 1994 to over 100 regular clients and about 150 walk-in clients per annum. Over the period, the firm has served a cumulative figure of over 100 firms that Show more range from private businesses to Non-governmental organisations, parastatals, public sector, donor-funded projects to financial and academic institutions. In order to meet the challenges of growth, the company has constantly expanded its institutional capacity in areas of human resources and infrastructural development. We are now, located in spacious premises on Plot 79 Bukoto Street, Kamwokya, which is strategically located at the centre of the city for easy access to our offices by our esteemed clients who cut across the board. In addition, the firm’s work force has expanded to comprise a team of 26 full time staff and over 10 associates who are specialists in various fields ranging from accountancy to audit to tax advice and financial, investment analysis and systems development, among others. The existing staffs have undergone further professional training in relevant fields such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, Computer science and risk management. 1.2 Location ALLIED Certified Public Accountants is situated on Plot 79 Bukoto Street, Kamwokya. 1.3 Mission and Vision Our mission is “Provision of Quality Services to clients’ satisfaction” and our vision is “Accessible and affordable audit and accountancy services”. To attain the above mission and vision, ALLIED undertakes value for money financial audit, accountancy, and business counselling and market research information. 1.4 Legal and institutional structure ALLIED Certified Public Accountants (ACPAs) was registered as a sole proprietorship with the registrar of business names on 23rd May 1993 vide Certificate of Registration No. 93365. The firm is also recognised by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) as “ALLIED” Tax Registration – Tax Identification Number (TIN) 1000289748 – National Security Fund Number NSO12521KPE
