CPAR Uganda Ltd is a nonprofit organisation with a proven record of decades contributing to improving well-being of people and communities of greater northern Uganda; first, from 1992 to September 2008, as a Country Programme of the Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR). And from 8th October 2008 to date, as an independent Ugandan organisation. Programmatically, CPAR Uganda holds a vision that people of greater northern Uganda – West Nile, Acholi, Lango, Teso, Karamoja and Bukedi – are able to meet their basic and genuine needs through their own self-reliant participatory efforts.
