    The Eastlink Media Awards are awards organized by the Eastlink Communications with the aim of appreciating the efforts of the media practitioners in Eastern Uganda and also encourage and uphold the professionalism in the region. The Eastlink Media Awards (TEM Awards) are presented annually though launched one year ago, the Awards represent a pinnacle of achievement for Ugandan journalists, many of whom work tirelessly to attain journalistic excellence, often in the face of enormous financial, social and political pressure. The Awards cover over 49 Media houses (Radio, TV and Print) broadcasting in the districts of Eastern Uganda. Districts among others include; Mbale, Tororo, Jinja, Pallisa, Busia, Iganga, Busembatya, Soroti, Kumi, Amura Katakwi, Serere, Kapchorwa, Bukwo, Sirinko, Bulambuli, Manafwa, Bududa, Namisidwa, Kamuli, Bukedia and Budaka.
