Located on the slopes of Mount Elgon in Eastern Uganda, it works with six smaller primary cooperatives to export their coffee to Fair Trade and organic buyers in Europe and North America. With the help of Root Capital, revenue has risen from $473 thousand to over $3 million, and payments to producers have more than doubled.
