Digital orthophoto generation and remote sensing

The process of ortho image generation generally goes through a series of characteristic stages. The ortho photo generation process starts right from the basic flight planning and the step of taking the required aerial photos. Aerial Remote Sensing are created by scanning of the developed aerial photographs and aerial triangulation is done on them. Collection of feature data and creation of digital terrain models follows. The digital Aerial Triangulation services are ortho rectified and color balancing is carried out on them. Seam polygons are generated and after this the seam lines are edited. The final stage of typical ortho image generation procedure involves the mosaicking of ortho photo images and balancing the color of these mosaics.Orthophoto generation is currently finding a wide range of applications.
