St. Joseph’s Girls’ S.S.S Nsambya is a Catholic founded private school, started in January 1967 by the Little Sisters of St. Francis who up to date are the administrators. It is a Girls only “O” and “A” level boarding school located in Kampala off Ggaba Road, in Makindye Division, Kampala District. The idea to start this school was born out of a need to promote the then neglected education for girls in the country. The need was expressed by parents to the Little Sisters of St. Francis who have as their mission to uplift the standard and status of women in the African society.
