The Youth with Physical Disability Development Forum (YPDDF) was established in 2002 by a group of young people with physical disabilities who sought to create a long-term plan for the development of disabled youth in Wakiso District and elsewhere in Uganda. They officially registered their organization in 2005 as a community-based organization dedicated to disability, recognizing that other organizations were primarily focused on other disabilities.
