Uganda Medical Emergency Response was formed and registered in 2009 and is located at Plot 14 Akiibua Road. Uganda Medical Emergency response was formed by a Group of Medical Personnel including Orthopaedic Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Paramedics and Nurses for the purpose of improving Pre and Post-hospital care in medical services. VISION: To be a leader in promoting public health through prevention of disasters and professional rescue of disaster victims. MISSION: To reduce morbidity and mortality caused by accidents and other disasters by providing quick, professional rescue services delivery. OBJECTIVES: To reduce the mortality and morbidity caused by raod traffic accidents and other disasters To offer pre and post-hospital care services in the great lakes Show more region. To train emergency medical technicians for UMER and other organization of the same interests. To offer emergency medical services to the affected victims. To liaise with other organs that do related work. Because of its effort to improve on quality and professional services it has partnered with Nakasero Hospital. Uganda Medical Emergency Response has also joined hands with Uganda Police Force to improve on the required interventions in an effort to save life after the medical emergencies.
